Moto Virtuoso is a solo piano project of Steve Mikes. "Moto" (meaning movement; manner of movement; particularly, movement with increased rapidity) and "Virtuoso" (meaning a person who excels in musical technique or execution) was a perfect name for the project. Steve has had 12 years of classical piano training before he decided to compose his own compositions. He has also been a percussionist for 15 years, also being a drummer for multiple bands for 7 years, and has also started to learn how to play guitar and bass guitar. From all his musical experiences, he has infused percussive rhythms into his piano compositions resulting in his own powerful yet pleasant sound.
